About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Receptionist to join our team at Chalkwell Kennels. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our employees, visitors, and assets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet and greet visitors, staff, and contractors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring correct passes are issued and accurate information is recorded.
  • Answer incoming calls and emails in a timely and professional manner, handling general enquiries and transferring calls to the appropriate person or department.
  • Comply with all front-of-house and security protocols, including the use of management escalation routes where necessary.
  • Produce and maintain relevant documentation, including reports and records, to support the smooth operation of the front-of-house team.
  • Participate in regular training and development activities to maintain and improve the level of service provided.
  • Fulfill reasonable requests from the management team and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Experience in customer service or a customer-facing role.
  • Flexible and professional attitude, with a commitment to exemplary service.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • IT literacy, with a good knowledge of Microsoft packages, including Outlook and Office.
