Job Title: Senior Public Law and Human Rights Department Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Public Law and Human Rights Department Head to join our award-winning Public Law and Human Rights Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Solicitors, Legal Executives, and paralegals/assistants to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Solicitors, Legal Executives, and paralegals/assistants to deliver high-quality legal services to our clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve departmental performance.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure their ongoing development and growth.
  • Manage the performance of team members to achieve revenue targets and deliver excellent client service.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Judicial Review and leading and managing a team of fee earners and support staff.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong business development skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategies to drive business growth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
