Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Director of Equestrian Operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our equestrian department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide managerial support and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.
  • Supervise and assist with the induction and training of new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize store sales, including visual merchandising and product promotion.
  • Deal with customer complaints and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing a positive outcome.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to achieve business objectives, including sales targets and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proven experience in a retail or equestrian industry management role, with a strong understanding of customer service and sales principles.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
