We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Executive Chef at DO & CO. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our high-end cuisine meets the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and develop a team of culinary professionals to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional service and high-quality cuisine.
- Culinary Operations: Work closely with our culinary teams to break down dishes into components, maintain and update ERP systems, and review and input recipe, pricing, and galley plans data.
- Menu Planning: Create delivery plans (menus) and galley plans (packing plans) and input them into our system.
- Inventory Management: Calculate and review Bill of Materials (BOM) and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operations and production-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Reporting: Assist in producing operational reports as requested.
- Leadership: Demonstrate forward-thinking leadership, always looking to exceed targets and expectations, and create new ways of working to improve processes and data collection across the business.
- Relationship Building: Maintain good working relationships with all DO & CO family members, partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Accountability: Take responsibility for all actions, support the team, and celebrate successes as a family.
- Culinary Expertise: Passion for high-end cuisine, love for food, and motivation to deliver exceptional service.
- Leadership Skills: Well-presented, professional individual with a can-do, positive attitude that indulges in team success.
- Change Management: Ability to be a positive change champion for DO & CO, self-motivated, and resilient to a changing environment.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and precise record-keeping skills.
- Communication: Clear and engaging communicator with strong written and verbal English skills.
- Adaptability: Flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently, and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family.
- Technical Skills: Experience in using Navision or similar ERP systems across multiple industries, including high-end food retailers, hospitality, or events. Must have high-end food or recipes experience.
- Reporting Skills: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and working experience of producing reports.
- Availability: Flexibility in regards to work availability is essential, as the Operation runs 7 days a week, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Eligibility: Right to work in the UK.
