Job Title: Deputy Chambers Director

We are seeking an experienced criminal clerk to join our team as Deputy Chambers Director. This role will involve working closely with the Chambers Director to develop the practices of individual members, identify business opportunities, and oversee the clerking team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the practices of individual members and the Chambers as a whole.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Supervise and support the clerking team to ensure excellent client service and efficient case management.
  • Collaborate with the Chambers Director to develop and implement long-term strategies for the Chambers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a criminal clerk with a strong understanding of regulatory law, inquests, inquiries, and criminal/civil fraud.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
