Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled)
Job Summary:The Recruitment Co. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Milton Keynes. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and peripherals, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure equipment and machinery operate efficiently and at full capability, maintaining a continuous production process.
- Carry out repairs on machines as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance.
- Complete relevant paperwork and maintenance logs accurately and in accordance with company procedure.
- Adhere to quality, hygiene, and food safety policies in all duties.
- Perform other duties as reasonably required by supervision.
- Served apprenticeship in an electrical biased environment is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and ability to read schematics, with a good understanding of safe working practices.
- Knowledge of pneumatics and ability to read schematics, with a good understanding of safe working within this environment.
- 17th or 18th edition electrical regulations and full understanding of energy isolation, safe working, and L.O.T.O.
- Demonstrable electrical fault finding skills and good understanding of control systems.
- Experience in a FMCG background and cross-functional M&E multi-skilled.
- Must have a clean as you go work ethic and good understanding of basic fundamentals of 5S in the workplace.
