Job Title: Interdisciplinary Center Coordinator

Join Southeast Community College as an Interdisciplinary Center Coordinator and play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating simulation and clinical skills student experiences for our Health Sciences Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate simulation events, including scenario preparation, faculty training, and equipment management.
  • Develop and implement simulation learning experiences into the Health Sciences program curriculum.
  • Collaborate with faculty to ensure smooth simulation operations and optimal learning environments.
  • Manage inventory, facilities, and equipment within the IDC Center.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and communicate with the Dean, IT, and simulation maintenance.
  • Maintain competence and knowledge of healthcare equipment and simulation technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare profession/field.
  • 2 years experience with healthcare simulation.
  • Healthcare-related certification and current Nebraska license in the profession.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified/Credentialed Simulation Specialist/Coordinator.
  • Two years of post-secondary teaching experience.
