About the Role

The NHS South East London Integrated Care Board is seeking a skilled Commissioning Development Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our primary care transformation team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering our whole-system model of care, in line with One Bromley's strategic plan.

Our team is dedicated to improving health services for people in Bromley, and we are looking for a talented individual to support primary and community care improvement across the borough. The successful candidate will use data and information to develop insights about primary and community services, monitor contract delivery, design and produce communications for a range of audiences, and lead the implementation of projects.

Main Responsibilities

The postholder will have individual responsibility for projects and discreet work areas, working with a high degree of autonomy to meet deadlines. They will engage confidently with internal and external partners, using their understanding of healthcare policy, population health management, and data-driven approaches in their work.

The successful candidate will demonstrate their knowledge, technical and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will have a flexible, delivery-focused approach to resolving issues and finding solutions to problems.

Person Specification

  • Postgraduate diploma level or equivalent level of experience in a specialist area
  • Demonstrated experience of project management principles, tools, and techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse complex problems from multiple sources of information, interpret, and present data
  • Numerate and demonstrated ability to understand complex financial issues
  • Demonstrated ability to provide and receive complex, sensitive, and contentious information and present complex and sensitive information to large groups and senior stakeholders
