At Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, we are committed to empowering deaf individuals through the support of our life-changing hearing dogs. As a trusted partner in this mission, we are seeking a skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team and drive the financial strategy of our organization.

We currently have over 1,100 working hearing dog partnerships across the UK, providing companionship and emotional support to those who need it most. Our goal is to expand our reach and impact, and we need a seasoned finance professional to help us achieve this vision.

The successful candidate will lead our financial operations, ensuring all regulatory and statutory requirements are met and relevant controls are in place. They will also spearhead the creation of a five-year rolling investment plan, deliver the annual audit, and develop the budget process. In addition, they will co-chair the Audit, Risk, and Finance committee and fulfill the role of Company Secretary.

We are looking for a highly experienced leader with a strong background in financial management, IT, and estates. The ideal candidate will have expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and long-term financial and technology planning. They will also have experience in identifying and mitigating financial risks, managing cash flow, debt, and investments that drive growth and innovation.
