Ernest and Florent, a leading fit-out contractor, is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Director to join their team in Cambridge. As a Commercial Director, you will play a vital role in driving the company's growth and success.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the commercial operations of the company, including pre-construction, tendering, and delivery. You will work closely with the commercial director to develop and implement commercial strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage commercial operations, including pre-construction, tendering, and delivery
- Develop and implement commercial strategies that drive business growth and profitability
- Work closely with the commercial director to achieve business objectives
- Manage and develop junior quantity surveyors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a quantity surveying and commercial management position
- Experience with fit-out projects, particularly in the commercial, education, and retail sectors
- Strong contractual and payment knowledge
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
