Talent Development Specialist

City Of London, United Kingdom Frazer Jones Full time

We are pleased to be partnering with a leading global firm in their search for a Learning & Development Manager to sit in their London office.

This role forms part of a wider, global HR team, leading the talent and development piece for their legal population.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, this is a varied and diverse role offering a full 360 talent management and development opportunity to the right candidate.

The firm is looking for someone who has a keen interest in supporting individuals to flourish, and in helping managers gain confidence in coaching their teams and leading positive career development conversations for the benefit of the individual and the firm as a whole.

The ideal candidate is someone who has previous talent management and/or learning & development experience and is familiar with the pace and considerations of working in a law firm.

You'll need to be credible with senior management and adept at managing a range of stakeholders.

The firm's 'always learning' culture means that development is high on the agenda, and you are likely to spend more time reviewing and prioritising training needs than you are convincing people to make time for professional development.

You will also work closely with broader HR colleagues in different jurisdictions to ensure that a two-way feedback loop exists to introduce and refine a broad range of development offerings.

The firm is looking to meet with candidates who have experience operating in a legal or professional services background, and familiar with the needs of an international, fee-earning environment.

You will be familiar with legal career paths, routes to qualification, and appropriate external qualifications and skilled at design and facilitation of in-person and online development activities, and managing effective supplier partnerships.
