Clinical Development Director

We're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Development Director to join our team in the United States. This exciting opportunity will allow you to make a significant impact on our global medical science efforts and drive business performance across our organization.

About the Role

This Clinical Development Director position is a key role that requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of clinical research and biostatistics principles. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing scientific designs, medical governance, and interpreting results of studies. Your primary objective will be to ensure that study objectives are consistent with decision criteria and that design is appropriately incorporated into protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Study Design: Develop and implement study designs, incorporating integrated input from internal/external experts, thought leaders, and patients. Ensure that study objectives align with decision criteria and that protocol deviations are addressed through remedial plans.
  • Scientific Oversight: Provide benefit-risk analysis, ensuring that study analysis plans align with protocol objectives and that patient safety and scientific integrity are maintained.
  • Evidence Generation & Outputs: Interpret study data to create the scientific content of Clinical Study Reports (CSRs), prepare study results for abstracts, posters, presentations, and external journal publications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, preferably Infectious Disease.
  • Experience participating in global initiatives and managing large programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree (MS, PhD, MD) or relevant certifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership success and record of high performance and delivery.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
