About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our friendly, award-winning team as a Care Assistant. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high standards of personal care to our residents, ensuring their dignity, respect, and independence are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with all aspects of personal hygiene care, promoting optimum independence and dignity.
  • Recognize and understand clinical risk areas, such as weight loss, pressure sores, and infections, and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
  • Act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting their individuality and dignity.
  • Practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will embody our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all that you do. While experience is not required, we offer a thorough induction and training program to ensure your confidence in the role.

  • Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Initiative and respect towards residents and other team members.
  • Efficient work habits and ability to carry out instructions from other team members.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

This role requires a DBS Disclosure check, the cost of which will be met by Avery Healthcare. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK is also required.
