Position: Field Care Supervisor

Location: South Essex branch (SS15 6AG) Covering Brentwood & Basildon - Reablement

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Care Supervisor to represent Cera and enhance our family-oriented approach. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting initial introductions, developing care plans, performing client evaluations, and accompanying Care Workers to ensure the quality of care provided. The position entails spending approximately 75-95% of your time in the field and 25-5% on administrative duties in the office. This is an opportunity to deliver essential services and support to the most vulnerable members of our communities while contributing to our mission of becoming the UK's leading technology-enabled care provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the continuous supervision of care staff
  • Ensure that client needs are consistently met
  • Guarantee that your team possesses the skills necessary to provide safe, high-quality care
  • Conduct meet and greet sessions for all new care packages
  • Maintain local knowledge of the service area
  • Develop and review care plans
  • Perform risk assessments
  • Conduct audits of medication administration records and logs
  • Carry out spot checks and field supervision of care staff
  • Facilitate Carer interviews and assist with compliance
  • Participate in provider meetings and support business development opportunities
  • Engage in hands-on care as needed
  • Participate in out-of-hours on-call duties
  • Contribute to team meetings

Required Background and Experience:

  • Flexibility in work hours
  • Proven experience in the care sector
  • Strong understanding of the care industry
  • Passionate about providing care
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficient in IT
  • Highly organized
  • NVQ qualification is desirable but not mandatory
