SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Sennen Education Ltd is recruiting for a SEN teaching assistant to join our team of experienced professionals in Bury. The role will involve supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in primary and secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with SEND in a variety of settings, including primary and secondary schools
  • Work with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children with SEND
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and teaching staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of six weeks UK experience of supporting young people
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one)
  • Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
