Position Overview
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Teaching Assistant with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN) to collaborate with our partner educational institutions.
This role is situated within a specialized Primary SEN institution that caters to children with autism and various other educational challenges, including ADHD, PMLD, SEMH, and physical disabilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of ADHD and ASD, along with the necessary support and care strategies to facilitate effective learning for these children.
Key Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of the classroom teacher to deliver structured educational activities tailored for individual students and small groups.
- Engage in activities aimed at assessing and addressing the personal, social, and emotional needs of students.
- Foster positive relationships with students to enhance their academic progress and overall development.
- Assist in the formulation and evaluation of individual learning targets for students.
- Support students as part of a comprehensive inclusion strategy.
- Contribute to the development of diverse skills that facilitate student learning.
- Provide assistance with specific medical or care requirements of students, following appropriate training.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive hourly wage ranging from £12.90 to £14, depending on experience.
