Job Title: Accounts Assistant for Travel Company

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team in the Accounts Department of a boutique travel agency in North London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconcile credit card statements and chase hotels for copies of invoices
  • Ensure internal paperwork is received from travel consultants and chase hotels for payments
  • Keep ledgers up to date with queries and amendments
  • Speak with hotels regarding outstanding commission and raise invoices for commission owed
  • Keep departmental filing up to date and answer calls for the department
  • Allocate payments on sundry account and WPS account
  • Email progress reports to credit controller

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels
  • Basic administrative skills
  • Interest in travel industry
