Regional SHEQ Manager

The Regional SHEQ Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective delivery of SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) initiatives within the region. This position is responsible for supporting operational management in maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to company and client expectations, and promoting a culture of compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement risk assessments, method statements, and SHEQ plans, including CDM Construction Phase Plans, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular SHEQ compliance monitoring activities, track corrective actions, and provide regular update reports on team and individual activities, business unit performance, and improvement actions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, customers, and industry bodies, to ensure effective communication and compliance.
  • Provide expert advice on SHEQ matters, including recommending solutions for significant non-conformances, adverse accident investigation findings, or poor performance.
  • Ensure the implementation of effective SHEQ systems, processes, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Chartered Member of IOSH or actively working towards it.
  • Desirable: qualification in Environmental or Quality disciplines.
