We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Professional to join our team as a Regional Health and Safety Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established residential housing developer, supporting their ambitious growth plans.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing health and safety on multiple sites across the East Midlands region. This will involve:
- Undertaking continuous reviews and monitoring the effectiveness of the health and safety policy
- Offering a range of health and safety services, including CDM compliance
- Liaising with stakeholders, including clients, designers, architects, and local authorities
- Attending site meetings and keeping site teams updated on health and safety matters
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring method statements are in place
- Conducting site inspections and accident investigations
- Recording near misses and ensuring training is carried out
- Ensuring quality procedures and processes support ISO certification
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NEBOSH Construction or equivalent qualification
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
- Membership to a professional body, such as IOSH, APS, or IIRSM
- Excellent understanding of 2015 CDM Regulations and health and safety legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience of implementing health and safety policies and management systems
- Previous experience of working on new build residential projects
- Full UK driving license
We offer a competitive salary in the region of £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience), as well as:
