About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDH Installation Trainee to join our team at John Lewis Partnership. As a CDH Installation Trainee, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences through the installation of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality installation services to customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
  • Work closely with our Installation specialists to develop your skills and knowledge, and to ensure that you reach your full potential.
  • Use your local knowledge to plan your schedule for the day, ensuring that you are able to meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Handle complex installations in customer homes, using your technical skills and knowledge to resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Participate in forums to help shape the future direction of our department, sharing your ideas and expertise to drive improvement and innovation.
Requirements
  • Hold a (UK) C1 driving licence.
  • Hold a DCPC (Drivers Qualification Card).
  • Hold a Tachograph Card.
  • Have previous experience driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle.
  • Have previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Have strong verbal communication skills, both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Be able to cope with the physical requirements of the role, including delivering large two-man items.
  • Have a basic understanding of technology.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Installation and disconnection of white goods.
  • TV installations.
  • Assembly of flat pack.
