About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Restaurant Safety Inspector to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring food safety throughout the UK. As a QRS/Retail Auditor, you will be responsible for auditing some of the most well-known names on the UK high street against food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards.
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is between £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive offer that reflects the importance of this role in maintaining the highest quality standards.
Job Description
As a Restaurant Safety Inspector, you will conduct food safety, brand standards, and workplace health and safety evaluations at client locations. You will consult, coach, and train clients on the latest food safety, health, and hygiene practices. Additionally, you will work with account management teams to resolve client challenges and provide accurate reporting and effective customer communication and relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Audit client sites to ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and inter-company standards
- Conduct food safety and brand standards evaluations
- Consult and train clients on food safety and hygiene best practices
- Work with account management teams to resolve client challenges
- Provide accurate reporting and maintain effective customer relationships
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working in a retail, restaurant, or food factory/processing environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
