Director of Communications and External Affairs

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Communications and External Affairs to lead our corporate communications strategy and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive corporate communications strategy to enhance the RSC's reputation and brand positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including policy makers, industry leaders, and the media.
- Provide strategic advice to the Executive Director and Senior Leadership Team on communications and external affairs matters.
- Lead and manage a team of communications professionals to deliver high-quality communications outputs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of working at a senior level in corporate communications and external affairs.
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and develop effective communications plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
