We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Benenden Hospital Trust. As a key member of our sterile services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our decontamination and sterilization services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Decontamination Manager in the operational day-to-day management of the sterile services department.
  • Assume managerial responsibility for meeting the requirements of our services clients and internal customers.
  • Collaborate closely with Clinical Leads and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive a culture of continual quality improvement, performing and managing internal and external audits.
  • Develop and implement quality and service teams to ensure exceptional patient care.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge and experience in the decontamination of reusable medical devices.
  • City and Guilds in Management of Decontamination Process for Reusable Medical Devices and City and Guilds in Management of Flexible Endoscope Decontamination or willingness to undertake qualifications.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with ability to work under pressure and progress priorities/competing demands.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and support team working in a positive and challenging culture.
  • Preparation and presentation experience, including of performance, data, reports.
