About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Radiologist, you will play a key role in enhancing the delivery of Colorectal Radiology services and supporting general Radiology workloads.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide high-quality care services to patients, working collaboratively with other colleagues to achieve this goal.
  2. Contribute to the 24/7 rota, ensuring seamless coverage for the Unit, and provide clinical supervision to junior medical/dental practitioners.
  3. Take an active role in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Care Groups Business Plan, fostering projects that drive post-qualification professional education and training.
  4. Comply with Trust infection prevention and control policies, maintaining a high standard of personal and environmental hygiene.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Registerable medical qualification, Full FRCR or equivalent, Full Registration with GMC.
  • Wide experience in all aspects of Radiology, with specialist training in Colorectal imaging.
  • Experience in day-to-day organisation of Radiology services in a busy Teaching Hospital, with familiarity with information technology and general computer skills.
