Radiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Radiologist, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality clinical service, effective leadership, and contributing to the development of teaching and research in conjunction with King's College London/KHP.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a first-class clinical service, including the provision of diagnostic imaging services and the interpretation of imaging results.
- Lead and manage a team of radiologists, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with other departments and services.
- Contribute to the development of teaching and research programs, including the supervision of junior medical/dental practitioners and the development of educational materials.
- Participate in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of the Care Group's Business Plan, including the development of projects and initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with Trust policies and procedures, including infection prevention and control, and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Full Registration with the GMC and name on the GMC Specialist Register.
- Wide experience in all aspects of Radiology, culminating in the award of Certificate of Completion of Training by the GMC or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialty Registration (CESR) by the GMC.
- Specialist training in Colorectal imaging.
- Experience in day-to-day organisation of Radiology services in a busy Teaching Hospital.
- Familiarity with information technology and general computer skills, including the use of PACS.
- Able to demonstrate leadership capability within multi-disciplinary teams.
