About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Social Video Manager to join the Social & Online team at UKTV. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing internal video production, managing a team of video editors, and steering the editorial direction of video content in collaboration with other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team, providing clear goals and direction, and fostering an inclusive environment where they can perform at their best.
  • Work with the Head of Social Media to ensure videos are optimized across various social media platforms.
  • Manage the operational side of monetizing content, including rights clearances, content delivery workflow, and content optimization.
  • Be responsible for the editorial strategy on YouTube and output across monetized content on Meta.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive and deliver UKTV's social strategy.
  • Own YouTube across the network, leading on content strategy and content planning that delivers against business and brand goals.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of YouTube Studio analytics and Tubular Labs platform.
