Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, therapy, supervision, and consultation to individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions to individuals with psychosis.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement recovery-based care plans.
  • Conduct therapy sessions, including CBT for Psychosis and Family Intervention, to support individuals and their families.
  • Supervise and consult with other professionals to ensure effective care planning and delivery.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate the efficacy of psychological interventions.
Requirements
  • Doctoral/Masters level training in clinical/counselling psychology, including specific models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and lifespan developmental psychology.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience working with individuals with psychosis, including CBT for Psychosis and Family Intervention.
  • Knowledge of whole life span development and the impact on emotional, psychological, and mental wellbeing.
  • Ability to communicate complex information to clients, families, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work flexibly and creatively to achieve individual goals.
