Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to join our team at NHS 24. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a key role in providing clinical supervision to members of our multi-disciplinary team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality patient care.

About the Role:
  • Provide clinical supervision to non-clinical staff, using a variety of different models to deliver effective support and guidance.
  • Act as an autonomous practitioner, providing comprehensive telephone triage and clinical assessment services to patients and their carers/relatives.
  • Facilitate the provision of accurate healthcare information, self-care/health improvement advice, or referral to the appropriate level and location of care, in order to meet the holistic and therapeutic requirements of the patient/carer.
  • Use critical decision-making skills to make safe and appropriate clinical decisions, resulting in person-centred outcomes.
About You:
  • You will be registered as an Adult nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
  • You will possess excellent clinical decision-making skills, with the ability to provide continuous clinical supervision and leadership.
  • Extensive post-registration experience, preferably within an acute or primary care setting, with a broad range of knowledge across a number of specialties.
  • Critical decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
