Role Overview

Our company is seeking a skilled Paediatric Complex Care Worker to join our team. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires the ability to work independently and make decisions quickly in response to changing situations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a baby with complex medical needs, including managing tracheostomy and ventilation equipment, administering enteral feeds, and monitoring vital signs.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and manage essential medical equipment, including tracheostomy and ventilation equipment.
  • Administer enteral feeds and medications via NG tube (transitioning to PEG care).
  • Perform routine care and maintenance of feeding equipment.
  • Regularly check and document vital signs, such as heart rate, respiratory rate, and oxygen saturation.
  • Ensure the baby is comfortable and reposition as needed to prevent pressure sores or discomfort.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £14.50 per hour (estimated annual salary £28,800 based on a 38-hour week) plus benefits.
