SEMH Teaching Position in South West London

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced primary teacher to join our team at a specialist SEMH school in South West London. As a member of our staff, you will be responsible for teaching the KS1 & KS2 curriculum to students with SEMH needs.

The school provides a nurturing environment that empowers students to achieve their potential through a combination of academic, vocational, and therapeutic programs. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a primary hub, secondary school resources, and a vocational centre offering courses in construction, barbering, and hospitality.

A robust therapy service is a cornerstone of our school, providing interventions such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, play therapy, speech and language support, and animal-assisted therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach the KS1 & KS2 curriculum to students with SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborate with the therapy team to provide holistic support
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and carers
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Qualified teaching status
  • Experience supporting students with SEMH needs, Autism, and ADHD
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum
  • Effective behaviour management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
