The Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Homeless Support Worker - Care Role. This position involves working with vulnerable individuals who require comprehensive support and guidance to achieve safe and independent living. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and understanding to effectively work with clients who have experienced domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive support to clients with multiple and complex needs due to domestic abuse.
  2. Deliver support to service users who have experienced domestic violence, completing needs and risk assessments according to procedure.
  3. Refer clients experiencing drug or alcohol difficulties to specialist agencies for treatment.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving license and own vehicle with business insurance for travelling to client locations.
  • Desirable but not essential: Knowledge of Domestic Violence to better understand the challenges faced by clients.
