Job Title: Homeless Service Coordinator

About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and empathetic individual to join our homeless support team as a Homeless Service Coordinator at CIH International Housing Group.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide intensive support to young people aged 16-25 who are experiencing homelessness, helping them to set and achieve goals that promote independence and stability.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including social services, mental health teams, and other support agencies.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a comprehensive support package, addressing the complex needs of vulnerable individuals.
  4. Administer records, manage databases, and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  5. Support the development of effective strategies to address homelessness and improve outcomes for customers.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, or youth work).
  • Proven experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed practices and psychologically informed environments.
