About the Role:
As a Care Professional in our Homeless Support team, you will be working closely with vulnerable individuals to provide comprehensive support and guidance. Your primary objective will be to help clients achieve safe and independent living, which includes assessing and planning their needs.
This is a rewarding role that requires empathy, understanding, and excellent communication skills. You will be working with clients who have experienced domestic abuse, providing them with the necessary support to overcome their challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients with complex needs due to domestic abuse, including assessing and planning for their safety and well-being.
- Completing needs and risk assessments according to procedure to ensure effective support.
- Referring clients experiencing drug or alcohol difficulties to specialist agencies for treatment.
Requirements:
- A valid UK driving license and own vehicle with business insurance to enable travel to client locations.
- Desirable but not essential: Knowledge of Domestic Violence to better understand the challenges faced by clients.
