Banana Moon Day Nurseries is looking for a talented and experienced professional to fill the role of Nurturing and Developmental Team Lead. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our Baby Room, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 3-24 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities to support babies' development, providing personal care, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines. Additionally, they will build strong relationships with parents, ensuring effective communication and providing regular updates on their child's progress.

We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a range of activities to support infant development, including storytelling, singing, and art projects
  2. Work closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient nursery operation
  3. Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive work environment
  4. Ensure compliance with all nursery policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Your Requirements:

  1. Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants aged 0-24 months
  3. Strong knowledge of child development in the early years
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to lead and inspire a team
