Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Business Partner to join The Shepley Group's HR team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic HR support to the leadership team, managing employee relations, and developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Support: Provide HR guidance and support to the leadership team to ensure that HR strategies are aligned with business objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including resolving conflicts, conducting investigations, and providing guidance on employment law.
  • HR Policy Development: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with UK legislation and company policies.
  • Talent Management: Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management frameworks to ensure that employees are held accountable for their performance.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Level 7 CIPD or HR degree: A recognized qualification in HR or a related field.
  • Experience in HR: A minimum of 5 years' experience in HR, preferably in a unionized environment.
  • Strong HR skills: Excellent HR skills, including employee relations, HR policy development, talent management, and performance management.
  • Strong communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
