Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Morson Talent for the Harker Substation Project in Cumbria. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction site background, particularly in reinforced concrete, groundworks, and steel frame buildings.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee the work of site and section engineers, ensuring the project is delivered to high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role involves construction site management, reinforced concrete works, groundworks, steel frame buildings, Temporary Works Coordination, lifting operations, overseeing site and section engineers, project management, quality assurance, and health and safety compliance.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent construction site management skills
  • Experience in reinforced concrete works, groundworks, and steel frame buildings
  • Strong Temporary Works Coordination and lifting operations skills
  • Ability to oversee site and section engineers
  • Project management skills
  • Quality assurance skills
  • Health and safety compliance skills
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., BSc, MSc, BEng, HNC, HND)

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
