Job Title: Children's Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Support Worker to join our team in Lydney, Gloucestershire. As a Children's Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people between the ages of 8-18 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a residential setting.

About the Role:
  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people, enabling them to develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally.
  • Encourage independence and self-reliance in young people, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a safe and supportive environment for young people.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
Requirements:
  • Completed Level 3 QCF in Children and Young People (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in a healthcare or social care setting (desirable but not essential).
  • A full driver's license and ability to transport young people when necessary.
  • Ability to commute to Lydney, Gloucestershire.
