Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a leading care home service in Dunbar, East Lothian area. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our residents, working closely with our specialist teams to provide 24-hour nursing dementia care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks
- Maintain accurate documentation and resident records, utilizing modern technology to enhance care delivery
- Oversee medicine management on your shift, adhering to company policies and current legislation
- Make informed decisions in a timely manner, utilizing clinical skills to guide and support team members
- Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, promoting a culture of excellence
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Ability to lead a team, analyze problems, and propose solutions or improvements
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in using IT and communication systems required for the role
- Respect for the values, views, and needs of others
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing workload effectively
- Experience in delivering nursing care within the elderly healthcare sector
- Participation in quality and clinical governance programs
