About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Stores and Procurement Specialist to join our team at Maidstone Hospital.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Pharmacy Stores and Procurement department, centralising procurement of medicines and ensuring efficient stock management.

Main Duties:

  • Manage stocks effectively, reducing wastage and optimising procurement processes.
  • Support the invoicing clerk in investigating discrepancies and resolving issues.
  • Participate in quality improvement projects to enhance medicines management.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC registration.
  • National accreditation in Medicines Optimisation or Patient Counselling.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will participate in our early/late rota and weekend working schedule.
