Role Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for clinically checking and validating oncology prescriptions, as well as procuring and dispensing SACT medicines. This role requires strong expertise in oncology pharmacy principles and practices, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Validating oncology prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  2. Dispensing SACT medicines, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  3. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote effective communication and patient care.
Essential Skills
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • At least 12 months' experience in a hospital environment, preferably in oncology pharmacy.
  • Expertise in verifying and screening SACT drugs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.
