Working as part of an energetic and personable team, the Supply Chain Procurement Specialist will become a fundamental member of the buying team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Procurement of Fresh Produce across various Soft Fruit categories, including Organic.
  2. Planning and management of stock to ensure volumes are met.
  3. Liaising with all parties to guarantee product quality.
  4. Managing successful and positive Supplier relationships.
  5. Negotiating prices to meet financial KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Senior level experience in Buying/Procurement within Fresh Produce, with Soft Fruit being an essential criterion.
  • Professional and confident, with the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Understanding of the Soft Fruit Fresh Produce Supply Chain.
  • Numerically minded and confident working with data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft systems.

This role requires a passionate, organised, and proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, meeting deadlines and tight timescales.

Salary: Up to £80,000 + Bonus, other benefits included.

Location: Kent or West Midlands
