About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised and resilient individual to join our busy and dynamic Children and Family Services Business Support Team as a Business Support Coordinator. The successful candidate will work with the SEN Assessment teams, providing comprehensive business support services and utilising good organisational skills to co-ordinate local and statutory requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide a range of business support services, including administrative and secretarial functions.
  • Create, develop and maintain information systems and processes, including Microsoft office packages to produce reports.
  • Undertake financial routines, including p-card arrangements and monitor budgets associated with service requirements.
  • Be the first point of contact for enquiries from schools, partners, voluntary and community organisations, agencies and members of the public, including generic inbox management on a daily basis.
  • Line manage staff, including supervision and Annual Performance Review meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recognised academic qualifications, including GCSEs, A Levels, vocational qualifications or professional education qualifications relevant to the area.
  • Good computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Access.
  • Good organisational skills and excellent customer care skills, with a full understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality.
  • The ability to produce accurate work to deadlines, including notes of meetings, reports and documents.
  • The ability to establish and maintain working relationships and communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
