Metadata Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Metadata Management Professional to join our team at the Digital Preservation Coalition. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a wide range of archival materials, from 20th-century European politics to 20th/21st century history, including the history of medicine.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of professional standards for archives, particularly relevant to cataloguing these materials. A postgraduate qualification in archives management, digital curation, or a related subject is highly desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to shape the future of digital preservation, promoting newly available resources to potential audiences and contributing to the Bodleian Libraries' ambitions to surface its archive and manuscript collections.
The salary for this role ranges from £39,000 - £44,000 per annum, reflecting the demands and expectations of this challenging position. You will require experience of cataloguing modern archives, with evidence of aptitude for high-throughput original cataloguing, and exposure to archives metadata management environments.
