Key Responsibilities

As an Academic Publishing Data Specialist, you will play a central role in researching, developing, testing, and introducing key metadata initiatives to the business. This includes the use of new technologies to assist editorial and marketing data processes, as well as maintaining contributor and institutional persistent identifiers.

You will also line manage one Metadata Manager and work closely with metadata colleagues in the US office and other divisions to identify best practice and feed into the company-wide metadata strategy.
