Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our busy care services for young people and adults with moderate and severe SEN and complex needs.

The setting currently provides support to 50+ individuals who have a range of needs and disabilities but are united by a love of learning and education. Our mission is to help those young people make life happen which is why your role as a Care Assistant is vital.

Your key responsibilities will include supporting with life skills, work experience and education activities on a full-time, permanent basis starting ASAP. This role is needed all year round, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting with life skills
  • Supporting with homework/study/educational activities
  • Promoting independence amongst the people we support
  • Supporting people we support with Personal care needs
  • Dealing with complex needs

Requirements:

  • Excellent communications skills to liaise with other agencies
  • Kind, nurturing and committed individual who is keen to support SEN learners
  • Experience working within the care sector (desirable)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
