We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper and Payroll Expert to join our team at Recruitment Helpline. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, with experience gained in a similar role. They will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices and financial statements to customers/clients, recording cash and cheque receipts, and conducting monthly reconciliations of bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and issue invoices and financial statements to customers/clients;
  • Record cash and cheque receipts and make bank deposits;
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of bank accounts and periodic reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy;

The successful candidate will also be responsible for utilising HM Revenue and Customs' (HMRC) PAYE Online Service to ensure payroll reports/forms are submitted timely and all associated payments made in accordance with deadline dates. They will process payroll in a timely manner ensuring accuracy, records are maintained, and payments made in accordance with company timelines.
