Job Overview: As an Early Help Key Worker with the London Borough of Croydon, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to families across the continuum of need. This includes recognising and accessing relevant support networks to promote a good standard of family life and wellbeing.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Early Help support, including universal and targeted services. You will also have a solid understanding of child development, research, and evidence-based practice. Strong decision-making skills, effective communication, and strong interpersonal abilities are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and sustaining positive relationships with families, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Navigating complex family circumstances to identify potential risks and create relevant safety plans.
  • Collaborating with management and wider services to ensure seamless delivery of support services.

Working Arrangements:

This role involves flexible and hybrid working arrangements to promote a healthy work-life balance. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £38,934 - £40,755 per annum.
