Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Shawside Care Village.

About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and enhancing the overall wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with medication management and administration
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities and engage in social interactions
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or behaviour
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Care
  • Experience in the safe handling of medicines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
