Senior Care Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Shawside Care Village.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring environment and make a real difference in people's lives. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver person-centred care and support to residents, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and medication management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and inclusivity.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Care.
  • Experience in the Safe Handling of Medicines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
