Environmental Crime Specialist

About the Role
You will lead a team of dedicated officers who are committed to maintaining a clean and safe environment within the council's borough. As an experienced manager, your role will be pivotal in tackling various environmental crimes, including fly-tipping, graffiti, and illegal waste management.
Fly-tipping has become a significant issue across the borough, and the team's resources are focused on combating this growing problem. In your capacity as lead, you will have expert knowledge and experience of various enviro-crimes issues and be responsible for planning and allocating resources, setting direction, and ensuring the team delivers high-impact, sustainable outcomes.
Your work will contribute to improving the borough's graffiti score, coordinating with waste management services, and enhancing enforcement actions across Regulatory Services. Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum.
